Remember back in Kindergarten when learning was fun? Remember how your Kindergarten teacher counseled and encouraged you to learn the ABCs? Perhaps you met Mr. M, the "Munchy Mouth" on your first day and worked your way eagerly through the alphabet making each letter your friend. Learning was simple and non-threatening back in those days.
And then your education progressed through Elementary, Jr. High, High School and beyond. For many of us the lessons learned after Kindergarten were learned in "the school of hard knocks". That patient, kind Kindergarten teacher was replaced with strict and unimaginative school masters, posed with ruler in hand to rap your knuckles for the slightest offense. And your classmates, instead of buddies to play blocks with became bullies that ridiculed you for the smallest stumble.
